It feels like a drag levelling him up to get those family buffs. I really feel those negatives about Joey, he's hard to use. Our boy Joey is the only character that is a bit unplayable on hard he should probably get armor or something while performing Whirlwind, Smite (not Divine Smite) shouldn't leave him open and his Rage should maybe knock enemies back (to compare Mark's Rage knocks back and HEALS). His Rage does small % damage when you move into enemies this is not very helpful vs mini boss mobs (or ever). Smite and Divine Smite are pretty useless also both versions have a wind up time which gets him attacked vs just basic attacking which would have created space. Maybe they can add a dodge chance buff to his Rage to balance him a bit.į Tier = Joey: The Brawler is by far the worst character soo many problems, first off he has multiple useless abilities his Whirlwind is pointless without a Rune because it does less DoT and doesn't push enemies away vs his basic attack which does. Shadow Cloak into Execute has a hard time hitting multiple enemies and has a very long cool down, also his Shadow Dance is a wasted ability pretty much since it doesn't have chance to insta kill so no reason to really use it vs Execute. His Rage just basically gives him increased attack speed & doesn't help him much vs mini boss mobs nor does his Shadow Cloak or Fan of Knives. He can't heal like Mark but can prevent a lot of damage attacking behind shield or w/ Rage.ĭ Tier = Kevin: The Assassin has some big survival issues, but hes still not horrible to play with the game feels better most times playing him vs the easy mode ranged characters. His Rage giving him invincibility is 2nd best among melees, all of his moves are good except Shield Dash is a bit awkward due to small hit box and not doing enough damage to lose an evade. He moves out of danger with his basic attacks and unlike all other melees he doesn't have what i call the "Bat/ Snake Problem" were melee characters have to chase these little enemies exposing themselves to attacks.Ĭ tier = John: The warrior is imo the most balanced character and the game feels best playing him (not too easy or hard). Why is the Archer Linda the best vs Lucy, well she's more mobile and her Rage can HEAL making her more tanky than Joey or John lol she can heal lots of life multiple times in a big fight.Ī Tier = Lucy: The Pyromancer is a broken ranged character but can't heal on demand like Linda.ī Tier = Mark: The monk is by far the best melee character playing with him is probably cheating too unlike all the other melee guys all of Mark's abilities are super strong w/ Whip, Vault Jump & Staff giving crowd control and his Rage HEALS. S Tier = Linda: After playing a while you realize playing w/ the ranged characters in kinda cheating they are soo strong and there's not really a downside to them since they aren't much more fragile vs melee characters.
